  • Giants' Antrel Rolle unsure he'll be able to play against Eagles this Sunday

    http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2...unsure_if.html

Excerpt: "Giants safety Antrel Rolle said he's unsure if he'll be able to play Sunday against the Eagles, after suffering a contusion and laceration to his left knee in a collision with a sideline cameraman last week.

"Right now, I can’t say it’s a for sure thing," Rolle said. "In my mind, am I going to play on Sunday? Yeah. But God willing, hopefully everything goes as planned and my knee feels good enough to go out there on Sunday, and I will be out there." Read more...

that's a bad sign ... players with broken bones say IM PLAYING ! ... so when they say they are not sure, bad sign ... well, on a positive note ... we do have a Safety decision to make with Sash coming off suspension and they both did get to play on D last week, so in the midst of an intense division battle we could be deciding which Safety stays and which goes ... altho Kuhn is another possible cut and hope for P-Squad and with all our CB issues, we do know that Rolle can play as a slot CB

the Pack hates replacements, we hate cameramen !!!

great. one handed webster. one hamstring coe. one ankle prince. 1/2 a person Tryon.

all those combined make a great corner...but now rolle might not go? who are we capable of fielding in the secondary. we are going to be stretched so thin. my goodness...

Man what is going on I thought he just had a cut on his knee this is starting to become troublesome he is one of our best run stoppers and we're going against arguably the best RB in the league...smh. I think Rolle is a warrior though and he will be there I just can't see anything stopping him from playing this game unless one of the doctors tell him not to although I think Will Hill is very cable of filling in nicely. Man I hate that camera person in the endzone I know they want to get the best shot but come on man.

Really Antrel? Over a cut? It must've been a really bad gash for him to consider not playing in an important game like this.

Not a cut, the cut was superficial. It was the impact with the big lens that casued the contusion at the top of his knee cap.

ahh...makes sense. Damn, I hope he'll be good enough to play, our secondary can't afford any more casualties

Safety is th eone place we can stand another injury thankfully. Hill and Brown looked great at the end of that game in Carolina. I know it was garbage time but Cam was still trying to score, they were still playing ball at that point.

Plus, I think 'Trel is going to play.

i wonder had rolle hypothetically had his career ended in that incident if he would have a viable lawsuit vs the nfl. u'd think if the player did have that ability, the nfl would make sure the cameras werent that close

Not the way I wanted to see Hill get some playing time but it looks like he will. Very good athlete. I think this is another Reese gem. Hill has 1st round talent. I know he basically a rookie, but with KP directing him maybe all will be good.

He woulda had a case against that Budha sitting there on his wide butt, unable to move a single inch to get out of the way. That was patheitic, He shouldn't have been down there putting the players in harm's way. That may sound cold but the result speaks for itself. Why drag the league into it when that overblown dude was the first line of defense?

That fat piece of **** should have to pay for Rolle's medical bills, along with a gym membership and personal trainer for himself. How pathetic is it that this man was too damn fat and slow to get out of the way
