  • Dallas: 2 and 1 w/1:15 to play 3 timeouts?

I cannot believe they didn't run 1 running play to get the first down? Loving it!

Exactly. 2nd and 1? Take a shot at the endzone.

3rd and 1, now you have 2 downs to get a first down.

That's the way I would look at it. Besides. You want to give Eli as little time as possible to mount a comeback. If Dallas scores a TD, the Giants would only have needed a FG to tie (in the event of a 2 pt conversion) or win.

        Garrett is a terrible coach

I agree with this statement whole-heartedly. Dallas outplays their opponents every single week, but still comes out with more losses than wins. That is a telltale sign of terrible coaching.
They said Brady and the Patriots couldn't be beat, Eli did it twice, how's that for Elite?

I don't know what the stat is now or how accurate I am, but up until midway through the season or so, with Garrett as HC something like 90% of the games played ended as close games (within 5 points or so).

He's not a good game manager, or play caller for that matter. I think he'd be a hell of a GM because he can sure put together talent, but overall, he lacks in actual coaching.
