  • Deal lord, our ref for this weekend...

Our ref for this weekend's game against the Steelers is not Jeff Triplette, but in my opinion, the 2nd worse ref. Make no mistake, this dude is awful.

    Bill Leavy

Leavy called our Playoff game in Green Bay last year, and surely we all remember how many botched calls went Green Bay's way. The Jennings non-fumble? The Osi "roughing the passer" call?

He's also the ref from the infamous Seahawks-Steelers Super Bowl in 2006.

This Steelers-Giants game is a great game between two of the league's premier franchises. I'm disappointed the NFL had to put this clown to work the game.

He's not the best but he is certainly not anywhere as bad as the 'good-ol-boy' Triplette.

If it keeps on rainin', Leavey's goin' to break, [X2]
When The Leavey Breaks I'll have no place to stay.

Mean old Leavey taught me to weep and moan, [X2]

Can't wait for him to put us behind the 8ball again.

Not happy about it, but at least they'll get the same ref as well...so we all have an equal chance of getting shafted.

Could have been worse. Gene Steratore might have been the guy. He grew up, and still lives, just outside of Pittsburgh

It could have been Hochuli again... (I always thought that name sounded like an STD to be honest)...

Why do the replacement refs start to look good with the passage of time?

Grass is always greener. Replacement refs botched calls left and right... if they were in on the dallas game they would have ruled Dez Bryant a TD. Also, they failed to call holding and PI most of the time in the first Dallas game. Only difference is that the replacements didn't have any ties to vegas.

Bill Leavy is not great but, I'd rather have him over Jeff Triplette or Ron Winter.

ps. Jerome Boger is the greatest.

I heard Leavy had a man crush on Rogers... I don't think he is partial to Big Ben!

It seems like the NFL has become the WWE. Soon players will betray the team and go to the opposition.
