  • Lions win: Wildcard Hopes for Giants Over

This won't shock many of you, but the Lions just beat the Raiders, effectively ending the NFC East's hopes of getting a Wildcard spot.

This means for the NFC East teams, it's now winning the division or bust. The Wildcard is no longer an option. The Giants MUST win their last 2 games or it's over.

As it should be. The East stinks this year!

Players come and go on the Free Agency Merry-Go-Round, but the N.Y. Giants will always be here!

Most people around here knew weeks ago we were out of WC hunt. That week they all lost and we couldn't take advantage
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

      # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
      2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
      3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
      4-New York Giants!!!
      5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Sad thing is lions just helped jets. Raiders were one of the teams chasing jets and had a big lead and let lions back in

The AFC Wildcard is now down to the Jets and Bengals, which means...

Next week is essentially a must win for the Jets too. It's basically an elimination match between us and the Jets.

Giants had no practical chance for the wildcard to begin with. Divison Title or stay home.

Yeah, Jets hold the 6th Seed right now. Big game next week for both teams. Loser will pretty much go home.

This. It's pretty much an elimination game.

If the Jets lose, they still have a small shot. If the Giants lose though, it's definitively over.

Now you know why the odds are 10-1 Eagles make the playoffs and Giants 30-1. Vegas is betting that the Giants will lose both final games. And after the Skins embarrassed us home, only a fool will bet that the Giants will make the playoffs.
