agreed. Kicking there and adding 3pts to get over 40 was just not needed at that point. Like you said running it into the middle of the line in that situation is the most sportsmanlike thing you can do at that point outside of just taking a knee on 4th down and just turn ball over to them. If we had gotten first down that's what TC would have done
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
    2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
    4-New York Giants!!!
    5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

would of been nice to hit 41 for the third time this season but no more points were needed thus run it into middle of line. Nothing fancy or tricky...

I grew up in the New Orleans area. If I remember correctly, the chant began in the mid 80's. The whole chant is even more nauseating ...

          Who Dat? Who Dat?
Who Dat say dey gonna beat Dem Saints?
          Who Dat? Who Dat?
Who Dat say dey gonna beat Dem Saints?

          Over and over again ....

Forgive me if you already know the entire chant ... I'm not sure whether or not they use the complete chant anymore.

              For the record...

Having grew up just 70 miles east of NO, I have some knowledge regarding this topic. In the late 50's I can remember we use to often times leave the front door open with just a screen door between us and outside. When someone would knock on our door, it was not uncommon to hear,

              Me: "Who dat?"

              Response: "Who dat?"

Me: "WHO DAT SAY WHO DAT WHEN I SAY WHO DAT!!"

To me...this is where it all started. Everybody who grew up down there knew this little ditty.

Also...it is part of the dialect of that area...dropping the "th" in the front of a word and making it a "d". I can remember well my mother correcting me while smiling when I would say "dis", "dat", "dem", "dey", etc.

The Saints have never had 50+ points put on them with Brees as their QB.

Glad we could be the ones to change that
