If he was cut, I can't imagine that we wouldn't pick him up and dump Torrain or Blumpkin . . . . . .

I doubt 49ers would release him this late in the year, especially since theres a good chance we could face them in the postseason

Wilson locked the spot, if he continues to run hard when it counts and fast when he gets an opening the GMEN could be taking the trek down to New Orleans!

ok, I've not ever heard that, but it sounds reasonable and I'll take your word for it....but then it would be up to the team to agree.....do we know that Toomer did not ask?

i would love to have Jacobs back with us! he knows the system and as someone mentioned, hes fresh!

but its hard to imagine the 9ers would let him go with the real possibility of another matchup with the G-Men later in Jan!

I certainly hope so.....and I think the more time passes, the more Giants fans will forget some of the dumb things he did, and remember all the punishing runs instead.

Who among us hasn't done dumb things?

Civil is good. No histrionics, he thought he could do better than what Reese offered and he was right.

I've learned never to underestimate Gilbride's ability to neglect healthy running backs.

So you would rather have Torrain and Blumpkin?

This. Without Andre Brown, BJ is by far the best option we would have to add an RB if it were possible this year. Too bad it's not likely.

I'd bring him back just for the camaraderie and the fire he might engender in the locker room. This current group seems to lack a fire in their bellies that BJ had in spades
