who was the starting quarterback the day Giants Stadium opened in Sep. 1976?
Craig Morton was the starter in '75 and '76, so I believe it was him... yet, I know Norm Snead played QB for us some that year, so it could have been him.

I was at the game... we beat the Egirls 2X that year. It was 62-10. A pleasure. Let's hope weput a similar whoopin' on them some time soon!

Our first regular season game against the Jets, at Shea. Who won? Score?
that had to be the 1970 game.
      Giants won that game.
the score? thats one I would have to look up.
but I do have a memory of Mercein the ex Giant getting tackled for a safety.
I felt bad about it I always liked Chuck

I was a kid living in Albany NY at the time of the 62-10 game, and all the Giants games were always televised on Sundays since the begining. For some reason this game was not televised. Can you imagine. I had to listen to all that scoringon the radio. WIsh I could get a copy of that game somehow. It's th eonly one I have missed since 1963
the Giants shut out one team in 1970.
        who was it?
I didn't know, so I looked it up. I'll wait for another to show us a great memory... but, I will give one hint. In the Giants 1970, 9-5 season, they were 2-0 against AFC teams. One was the aforementioned 22-10 victory over the Jets. The other was a shutout against this team.

The same year as that brutal loss to the Bears in the Championship...'63. Hugh was a tough man, and looked like a tough man. I assume he went in to the HoF as a 49er?

Another easy one, cuz I wore the number in HS, and I know lots of people that didn't like him wearing Giff's old number 16.
