  • The Death of Corey Webster the Solid CB

Today was the first day I had to stop defending C-Web. He's struggled all season, but not to this level. It's peculiar how you can be our shut down corner last year and this year become the guy that the opposing team looks to target. Today was just sad to watch. I don't know when he lost it, but his mojo is gone. It is time for us to say our goodbyes. Thanks for the good times C-Web.
Because of all of the effort and examination being poured into these predictions, the draft is a robust market that, in the aggregate, does a good job of sorting prospects from top to bottom.1 Yet despite so many people trying to “beat the market,” no single actor can do it consistently. Abnormal returns are likely due to luck, not skill. But that hasn’t stopped NFL executives from behaving with the confidence of traders.

Age catches up to all of us eventually. No malice to C-Web who's been key to past success, but it's time to move on...

Only reason Webby was any good was because the only person with any name that ever played across from him was Aaron Ross (and I think an aging sehorn his rookie year, but not sure)

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite team in the NFL.

Dont get me wrong, he got burned BADLY, but a few of those were some mighty fine catches.

He's been one of my favorite Giants for a while. I'm shocked at how fast the decline took place that's all.

How do Giants players regress like this all the time is beyond me, Websters career is done.

                  I don't think Webster's issues are physical.

I'm not sure why everybody is surprised. The majority of players performance start to decline around age 30 and Webster is 30.

He's worse this year than Ross was last year during the reg season.

The signs was there last season. I remember complaining about Webster and Rolle lack of communication. Webster was constantly leaving guys open and so was Rolle. They continue to blow coverages. How Reese is not picking up on this is beyond me. Because as I fan I was able to see some regression last year but I was told to shut up because Webster was a shut down corner. So I sat back this season, hoping Webster will be brilliant this year with Thomas and Prince taking over at slot corner for Rolle.

Thomas got injured once again. Webster proved he was regressing and Rolle continues to struggle covering the slot. Hosley is a rookie who is going throgh growing pains. The secondary is not deep at corner.

Don't forget our pass rush was covering up alot of the weaknesses in the secondary last yr unlike this yr.
