  • Losing close games to Philly and Pitts coming back to bite us.

    What a shame.

Adding to the fact that the whole team let their guard down after the Saints game hurts even more.

This team had so much promise...

Actually the Eagles and Washington games where more important and they lost by a total of 3 points.

I had a bad feeling about those 2 losses too. Shame we came up short by a few points. Never should have lost tha Wash game. Tynes cost us 3 pts that game.

No, the failure to score TD's in the red zone cost them he season.

Not really...if they had promise they wouldn't have been shutout in Atlanta and embarrassed in Baltimore.

The difference between winning NFCE and not was those 3 points we lost to Washington and Dallas. I mean If our coaches just decided to kick the FG vs Philly they'd have 9 wins right now and we'd still have destiny in our own hands
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                      # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                      2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                      3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                      4-New York Giants!!!
                      5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Tynes miss allowed the Steelers to go down field and score a TD. I'm not going to pin the Eagles loss on him because Coughlin should have ran one more play. In the Washington game, had Tynes made it, we would have been up by more points in a game where the offense and defense were getting the calls against them.
For a Giant fan that I personally knew: My mom. May she smile and be delighted whenever her favorite player - Victor Cruz - scores a touchdown and does his salsa dance.

Thank you mom for everything! Let's Go Giants!

The Steelers game was a loss but the other two where more important as they where divisional games. An interception in the red zone was more to blame for the loss against the Eagles. In the Washington game they attempted 4 filled goals and missed one. If hey scored more TD's in the red zone they would have won that game.

                            No it wasn't.

Had they not been greedy and not attempted to get a few more yards, Tynes would have been closer to kick the FG. Instead, we get penalized, Coughlin gets scared to allow to the offense to conjure up one more play, and he allows his kicker to miss a FG..twice.

Pretty hard to do when refs are calling players for holding and turning 3rd and short into 3rd and long.

Sorry, but turning the ball over in the red zone was a lot worse than attempting a field goal. The refs where not out to get the Giants. They failed like they did all season in the red zone.
