What about 2011 RoanokeFan..... nhpgiantsfan, thanks for the Canty info, didn't know that was the reason. That only adds fuel to my point of view.

Who was he playing behind? Our # 3 back is like our # 5 receiver in many ways.

Wilson wasn't much of an offensive consideration either. And now he's going to share the load with brown, it appears
Yeah that's the point, a rookie and a guy with multiple injuries and multiple teams blew right by him on the depth charts.

In 2011 Da'Rel was playing behind Jacobs, Bradshaw and Ware. Yes Ware was never flashy but he was decent and the coaching staff trusted him with the ball. In 2012 he hurt his knee and was placed on IR. See link.....http://profootballzone.com/nfl/giant...l-scott-on-ir/ and Andre never had an ACL...it was an achilies tear

YOU CANNOT PLAY WHEN UR ON IR...SO HOW DID ANYONE PASS HIM???? HE HAD KNEE SURGERY

Jacobs started a couple games because of an injured AB, and after they released Jacobs the staff agreed that drafting a RB was essential, so here comes Wilson in the 1st round.... NO Faith in Scott!

The rookie was a 1st round draft pick and Brown has surprised many of us.

I wouldn't mind drafting a running back in the late rounds. Competition for the #3 spot is a good thing, let the best player win the spot.

wrong...you don't place all your eggs in one basket. especially not on a 7th round draft pick

They don't need us to have faith in Scott. We need them to have faith in Scott's potential.

Don't be surprised if Lumpkin survives camp

these guys are not getting the point. He was hurt..EVERYONE passed him on the depth chart because he could not play. He had season ending knee surgery and was placed on IR. That being said he isn't better than Wilson, Bradshaw, or Ande so of course he wasn't going to pass them

Right. Which makes Scott the 4th back again, which means he won't dress for games, and essentially be a non factor.

Guy, everyone passed him on the depth chart long before he was hurt.

WOW, you really don't like Scott. Who's to say he won't be the # 3 behind Lumpkin?

I have nothing against him. I just don't think he is anything special and from what I see from our coaches, they don't either. My main thing is that if we are going with Wilson/Brown, then I want a vet to be the 3rd guy.
