  • How Would You Like To Have The Linebacker Coach's Job ?

You have one guy, who you still are not so sure where he will start. And a Mike who is on His 3rd team.

This is how coaches make their name. Hopefully our guy/guys are up to the challenge.

If they get Olgletree and Brown It might just get a little easier.

Every great coach has to start somewhere.

U would think building 2 completely different styled Offensive Super Bowl teams would give the scouts and FO some breathing room. There is a formula here proven to work on Defense the problem isnt the formula its what your adding with

Yes and he has improved lesser talent into starting TE's

You just hope they don't need remedial work on fundamentals because the system is different and it going to take time to learn.

If you are so fortunate to obtain a pro level position of which there are just 32, you would in this case learn to turn lemons into lemonade, and chicken **** into chicken soup. And if not, your career isn't going anywhere.

I think we have a very good coaching staff to include the assistants and quality control guys. The Giants thrive on consistency and nowhere would that be more important than the coaching staff. Last season we lost some coaches to promotions on other teams and then said no to losing another one.

                              Put up or Shut up

I think it's about time we adjust our philosophy a little bit on defense. Near bottom of the pack should not be tolerated as "acceptable" and I would be surprised if Coughlin hasn't lit a bit of a fire under Fewell's behind. Remember a couple years ago when this guy was a prime head coaching candidate? Our defense's performance, or lack there of, has clearly dropped him down the totem pole quite a bit - as he didn't get a single interview this year.

It's put up or shut up time for Fewell. We need a true leader on defense. That's why I want us to find a way to get Urlacher to accept a low salary deal or draft someone we can plug in for the next 10-12 years (I think that guy is Teo). We all harped on him when he was here, but AP brought accountability to our defense. We have nobody who brings that now.
