  • Giants' Victor Cruz says "Believe None Of What You Hear And Half Of What You See"

    http://www.giants101.com/2013/04/02/...-what-you-see/

Excerpt: "The New York Giants and wide receiver Victor Cruz remain at a standstill in contract negotiations.

It's been reported that the Giants have a "very generous" offer on the table for Cruz, with a deal that would pay the Paterson native in excess of $7-plus million per season and a very good chunk of guaranteed money. There has been no official word yet on if Cruz has declined the offer or not, but recent reports suggest the Giants star wideout could be looking for more.

Papa suggests the lingering standoff hinges on the guaranteed money and that Cruz is seeking more than General Manager Jerry Reese & Co. are currently offering. And although this is mere speculation on behalf of Giants 101, it would seem Cruz and his new agent, Tom Condon, are looking for a Mike Wallace-type guarantee of $27 million.

Shortly after that story got published, Cruz went on his Twitter account and posted a message to all of his followers.

"Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. Now back to #CruzDayTuesday," he tweeted." Read more...

I believe Armstead and Tuck were as well.

Jay being a Cowboys fan is relevant because I find it funny that he is jocking a Giants player.

I don't need to find the pictures because i've already seen them, all of them...lol. I said find them the same way you found a quote like it takes away from his Cowboy stanning. Yeah, Jay has been to JET games...when the Cowboys played. Been to other Jets games...but supports the Cowboys the most. I don't know why you are in denial and again, getting emotional about this. It is what it is.

Common sense says he is not going to report anything that isn't true, and that he would only report something that came from a very credible source. Don't confuse Papa with the rest of the hacks out there. He is a Giants employee, first and foremost!!
I like Papa, but don't you get the fact that whatever we hear about negotiations is MEANT to be heard for a reason, hence the reason Cruz says "Believe nothing you hear and half of what you see!"

You find those pics. Why do I have to prove your point for you? It's easy to google Jay and see him fully decked in Jets gear or see that he 's a Giants fan. His father was a die hard Cowboys fan and hence his like for the team. He goes to Jets games also and appears on the sideline and talks to Woody. So what?

And Jay is NOT Cruz's agent so I find it funny that you think he's personally "jocking" a Giants player.

It's often easier to believe what we read than apply some research or logic.

And Bleacher Report ****ed it up even more by misrepresenting the Daily News article in their regurgitation by suggesting it was Condon who demanded $10+M
