  • Shepard Carted Off

    Jordan Raanan‏@JordanRaanan
Sterling Shepard was looked at on sideline. He's in serious pain. Taken off on cart. Apparently in tears. Not good.

    Ian Rapoport‏@RapSheet
#Giants WR Sterling Shepard was carted off the field today during practice and doctors were looking at his ankle. Update after practice.

    Updates:
    Dan Duggan‏@DDuggan21
McAdoo said it looks like a rolled ankle for Shepard. Called it "basketball type. That's usually low ankle variety.

    Kimberly Jones‏@KimJonesSports
Heard low ankle sprain for Shepard. #NYG

    Mike Garafolo‏@MikeGarafolo
Giants WR Sterling Shepard underwent initial tests + immediate diagnosis is a low-ankle sprain, source says. In line with what McAdoo said.

    Jordan Raanan‏@JordanRaanan
Optimism from sources that Sterling Shepard has a low ankle sprain. Waiting for swelling to subside for final verdict.

No biggie, Engram is a bigger, faster, more dynamic slot receiver.

Give Engram those snaps in the slot.

"Sir, I was wondering: did you happen to catch the professional football contest on television last night?"
              "No...I didn't."
"Oh it was most exhilarating: the Giants of NY took on the Packers of Green Bay and in the end the Giants triumphed by kicking an oblong ball made of pigskin through a big H. It was a most ripping victory."

Lol, you are clueless in every way. Losing Shep would be a huge loss.

Whenever I read something like that, my first thought is ACL....and I'm hoping it's not as bad as the tweet makes it sound.

This isn't an either/or situation. Would it not have been nice to have them both on the field at the same time?

                        really crappy news

Why does this **** happen every year? Every year I feel like we lose a big name in camp for the year. Really puts a damper on the season.

                            Sounds like ACL at least.

Be like that empty feeling I had in my gut when Cruz went down in the endzone in Philadelphia
