I'd much rather go 9-7 and win a super bowl than go 10-6 and go nowhere in the playoffs. But yeah mcadoo got off to a good start. Hopefully he'll also win a couple championships.

I like how you conveniently leave out 2008 (12-4) to make your pointless opinion look more legit.

          point?

oh yeah.....like most of your posts there really isnt anything of substance...

The Giant were 11-5 and thats a fine record and they should be applauded. But your agenda is a joke.

You are quickly becoming the board comedian. Thanks for the laughs.

I think CRF has running out of bait . His redundancy is becoming burned out.

He won 12 games in 2008...his fifth year on the job...and he had won the SB the year before that.

tom Coughlin grated on me a lot of the time he was here but MacAdoo has nothing to hang his hat on at this point in time.

Coughlin also went 11-5 with the jags in only their 3rd year of existence....he didn't have his first head coaching gig on a team with Eli Manning and Odell's beckham.....

Not to mention the fact that Coughlin was involved in bringing in that giant, steaming turd John Jerry. smh ....

2 superbowls in a year? Season records mean jack if you get blown out one and done in the playoffs. Look at Dallas too. All those division titles and 2 playoff wins in 20 years. lol!

I agree with big blue. Records mean nothing if you're eliminated early. That being said if one wants to make a comparison of coaches ability, which I think was the point of the original comment, then what do you think our record would have been had Coughlin been given the defense we had last year? We had good defenses some of Coughlin's years that played great at the right time as we had outstanding pass rushers that made for some deficiencies. The argument can be made that they played great because of the coaching scheme and putting players in positions to succeed. Last years defense was excellent at all levels and was probably the most overall talented we've had in a long time. But it's all speculation anyway.

Two rings make it more than worth it, but we were far from dominant in the regular season under Coughlin. 08 was are only, we easily got the playoffs,
year I can remember. Last year we made it pretty easily and it makes me feel good about this year that maybe we should be a playoff team every year like most the other SB winners of this time. Can't win it all if you don't get there.

McAdoo has done well, but he has a long way to go to supercede Coughlin's success. This year will be a good gauge of McAdoo's abilities (or lack thereof).

The Giants appear strong, but no team comes without weaknesses. McAdoo will have to deal with a questionable OL, a pair of temperamental WRs, a running game yet to be determined and a QB whose decision making is sometimes inexplicable.

He will have to overcome a difficult schedule, the hype surrounding Odell and the challenge of keeping four receivers in the game and happy.

All-in-all it will be very interesting to see how McAdoo handles the entire situation, especially the expectation of the fans and media.

let's see if we can have less penalties, better turnover ratio, fewer injuries this year ...solid clock management, good play calling, those kinds of things.

                            GO MACADOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODLE!

Coach Coughlin was old school, run run run the ball, and he was very competent at it, until the game changed. Poor guy tried. Mcadoo is on the cusp of a breakout year. This season could be the best we have seen in a while.
