So RA are you going to make the first official 2017 game thread later on?? Or should we just use this thread which will be fine!!!

Excited for the new season and first pre Season game to see all the new faces in action finally!!!!

    So let's get posting guys!!!
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
    2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
    4-New York Giants!!!
    5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

So they are starting Johnson or Smith at QB. Eli and Odell have the night off. So is it possible we see a repeat of last night where both Glennon & Sanchez struggled for the Bears and then they inserted rookie Mitch Trubisky just before the half and he shined driving them to 3 scoring drives in a row and 17 Points. He almost rallied them for a tying TD in final Seconds but ran out of time around the Denver 10.

Will Webb do the same tonight when he gets his turn?

Hopefully not!! I'd like to see the first team O move the ball and give us some hope for the upcoming year even with Smith or Johnson at the helm.

I don't want it to be like the last two pre Seasons where our starting O could not score a point if their lives depended on it. It got the most embarrassing when Coach left them in extended the into late third quarter to try and find something positive to build on. Yet the 3rd and 4th string scrub Defenses they faced easily shut them down

The offense will supposedly be working mainly on the running game for this one. If they can just show moving the ball and no 3 and minimize the 3 and outs, particularly with backup QBs and WRs - that should be enough to give hope and build on.

Jumping between the Yankees and the Giants!
Players come and go on the Free Agency Merry-Go-Round, but the N.Y. Giants will always be here!
