  • So who wanted to draft McClain?

Dude is retiring from the NFL at the ripe old age of 23.

Who out there was crying how he could have been a beast for the GMen?

Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

          # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
          2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
          3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
          4-New York Giants!!!
          5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

The crazy thing is I don't recall any character issues (and I might be forgetful) that would have predicted his post-draft demise. I just remember some worries about Crohn's disease or something like that.

Hindsight is a mother. You can't foresee what a guy will become and who knows what he would've been with any other team besides the Raiders. It's a possible butterfly effect, so trying to be snide about it serves no purpose.

Don't want to name names but one of my buddy's on the MB was actually pissed off that we didn't move up to jump ahead of Oakland because we "should have known" they were taking him.

I remember not liking the Hakeem Nicks & JPP picks so I'm thrilled when I get it wrong

I'll admit it, when the Raiders picked him, I was bummed out.
