  • Giants, Redskins Remain In Pursuit Of RB Tim Hightower

    http://www.giants101.com/2013/05/16/...tim-hightower/

Excerpt: "In addition to re-entering the chase for veteran defensive back Charles Woodson, the New York Giants also remain in pursuit of running back Tim Hightower.

Hightower, who finally visited with Big Blue in early May, is also receiving interest from the Washington Redskins, with whom he played in 2011.

A former fifth-round pick of the Cardinals in the 2008 NFL Draft, Hightower burst onto the scene in his rookie year, scoring 10 touchdowns on 143 carries. He added an additional 13 scores over the next two seasons, all while averaging over 4.5 yards per carry, before being traded to the Redskins in 2011 for defensive end Vonnie Holiday and sixth-round pick." No reason to get into a bidding war. Not a position of concern unless he wants to return kicks and punts.

I suspect he'd be another one year deal

No interest at all in another running back. We are solid there.
