  • The sad thing about all this is that Eli can still play

Hey can still make all the throws, and heck- he can even run it in. We are wasting his last couple years with an incompetent head coach in over his head and a GM who does not know how to address the offensive line or running game.

Signing Brandon Marshall instead of a good lineman was one of the biggest mistakes in team history.

I was thinking the same. Eli is a great QB. The owners have failed him and the fans. Hired a fraudulent HC for Eliís final years. Thatís a kick to the face.

He can still play. That is why he should be cut loose at the end of the year. They owe it to him to let him go play for a contending team. This team is an absolute mess and needs to be rebuilt from GM down. Eli deserves way better than this.

True, Eli still has gas in the tank, but it appears that gas will go wasted. Unfortunate, it truly is.

yep, pretty sad to see it have to end this way. I was hoping he'd have one more shot at another run, the way it's looking that doesn't seem like it'll happen within his limited window.

and on the other side of the coin you have the eagles, and cowboys who look like they've got decent teams and young qb's who'll be good for the forseable future.

If Eli is "let go" he will command a high salary from other teams and can be the missing piece on a team that is a contender that is missing a QB.

Eli is playing some really good football and its being wasted by terrible play calling from an HC that just doesn't get it.

Use the next draft to fix the oline.

but the defense has taken a step back. Not sure how we fix that unless jpp gets back to his 2011 level and Tomlinson can become the next linval joseph.

Eli still is better then at least 20 starters imo. he can still win here and we need to give him that opportunity.

adress the OL, get a better HC.

don't wanna get ahead of myself but it seems like we found a RB in Gallman. WTF took so long. clearly best back on the team.

but anyway, Eli is still great. hope the giants give him another chance to get a title. this year seems like a long shot

He helped the team win 2 Super Bowls. How the heck did ownership or management fail him. He's had a good career with some great moments.

Fire Reese and McAdoo. Trade- OJB and get what you can for Vernon, Collins and Harrison. We need football players- not those jokers. It is sad to see this small window Eli Manning had to lead a good team well into the playoffs slip away. For years Reese has led this franchise downhill- the rest of the East
have football teams that play to win- not this group- does anyone honestly believe itís just
the offensive line? Conversely, what does it say when Eli has to rush for a TD. He deserved better at end of career.

So get rid of the only true talent on the team? They're "jokers"?

From the sound of it, you sound a bit like a joker yourself, and I hope you're just trying to make us all laugh with your post

I'm pretty sure that stand up comedy is not his day job. Well I hope that it isn't.
