Damn. I remember when I was posting at the time when Cruz was about to get a new contract and all of the posters wanted the Giants to give Cruz ten mil. I said no because we need more than him and ten mil was too much for one player.

You know that's just absurd. Cruz was playing out of position last year. He is a slot receiver, a very good one. He could be used in the slot.

I can't disagree with the Giants not seeing Cruz as an option. He's not the player he was prior to his injury, which is why the Giants and Bears let him walk.
One of these teams is not like the others

Ok, lets assume for a moment that Cruz has anything left in the tank and would be better than all the other options. At 0-5 the Giants will not see the play-offs. Cruz does not have many years left in him even if he has this year left. How does it help this team going forward spend time and money with Cruz who will not be here after week 16 anyway. Eagan, Lewis, King and Rudolph all have an opportunity to show if they are viable WR options beyond this season. Shepard has a chance to show he is more than just a slot receiver. With OBJ needing a new contract soon, wouldn't it be nice to know for sure if you have other options in the pipeline if you don't want spend QB money on a WR? Even if Cruz was by far the best WR on the market, he still shouldn't be an option for this team.

Remember folks, the Bears had no receivers on their roster and they sent Cruz packing.
Stop living off the past with him, he's finished.
This is the only wise decision McAdoo has made in months.

VC has been finished for awhile

I love the guy but he should be grateful the giants kept him on the roster all season last year

dude couldn't make bears coming out of pre-season

Shepard is our clot man, and he's day-to-day. There's no reason to replace him with a pylon like Cruz. We need bigger outside men with speed. I'm hoping Rudolph and King provide that.

Cruz is done. The only thing left are memories.

Victor Cruz is not an ootion...he can be at worst the 5th receiver on the roster he can still play.....Macadoo saying he's not an option ok.....lol neither is your playbook but no one can see that

I don't see the harm in bringing him back for the final 11 games. What's the worse than can happen? He either helps us win a couple of games or he at least shows teams he still has something left in the tank. He knows coach menus playbook since it obviously hasn't been altered from last yr.
