  • Ben McAdoo is losing the Giants locker room already -- and there are 11 games to go | Politi

Excerpt: "Let's start with a quick review:

One cornerback left the field before the end of the game on Sunday and then fled the locker room -- with his defensive coordinator chasing after him -- before the media could ask him questions. Another cornerback did answer questions and cited "the whole culture" as a reason for his own poor play and the team's horrific start.

And now, three days after that ignominious loss to the Chargers dropped the Giants to 0-5, a third cornerback left a meeting with Ben McAdoo and then left team headquarters entirely, prompting the head coach to suspend him indefinitely without further explanation.

    All the receivers are injured.

    All the cornerbacks are revolting.

Your 2017 New York Football Giants, everyone!

What a hot mess this team has become, not that the man who is supposed to be keeping it together sees it that way. McAdoo was asked about the "perception" that he has lost this team.

"Not concerned about perception," he said. "Concerned about reality."" Read more...

Unfortunately for him, reality may be worse than perception??
No one remembers who came in second.

He's about to learn what the NYC media is all about.

last yeaea honeymoon is def over.

I will say this: if he can somehow weather the media frenzy and come out the other end of it, he will have gotten experience that coaches in other cities simply can't get in one year. IF and it seems impossible atm, he can somehow do enough to warrant keeping on as coach, and he begins next year anew and with a good start, a lot of good can come from the bad that is this year.

please don't take this as an endorsement we keep him or anything of the sort. Merely reflecting that he is gonna face media scrutiny few have endured. He gets through it somehow and it could be something that helps him as a coach going forward.

Coughlin has resolve and like eli seemed to be perfect for the NYC media.

Mad mac seems like the opposite tho.

Does this guy have a menu of cliche lines just like his play calling sheet that he studies before his pressers. If so that needs to be revamped as well, this guy can't do anything right.

The guy is a delusionist. How could he lose control over something he never had control over in the first place?
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.
