  • Great win, but ...

    We are still 1 - 5.
    With a lot of holes.
    4 - 12

  • #2
Silver lining is that we will get a relatively high draft pick - worked in our favour that the teams that will be down there with us have done well this week!

      Really?

We’’ve suffered through 5 gut wrenching defeats, lost our best player for the season, won a game that NOBODY gave us a chance to win and this is what you come up with?

FFS man, you and McAdoo would get on great. A pair of miserable b@stards.

Why did it take until this point for McAdump to give up play calling or for these geniuses to realize Pugh is a tackle or that Jones is better than half the starters? Did they not observe last season or this pre-season? The glacial pace that these morons learn at as alleged professionals makes me laugh.

I texted my friend at the beginning that they would win this game. Of course they would, it is utterly meaningless and only serves to prolong a continued belief in BM and Reese. That is why being happy with this win is dumb, the season is over and the only good thing would be real actual organizational change.

        1-15 please

Just good enough to not get our next franchise QB unless we trade up. And Im afraid a win like this will keep McAdoo and Reese around longer. They need to be fired regardless.

But winning is so much better than losing so....

Who said they learned anything. Suspect as soon as some of the starters are healthy, they will go right back to
                what doesn't work.

A win is a win, but Denver never showed up for a 0-5 team and they paid for it.
Players come and go on the Free Agency Merry-Go-Round, but the N.Y. Giants will always be here!

The future QB should have been here and ready to step in like you see on so many teams. But we drafted Nassib, another genus Reese pick. So here we are years away from a QB to replace an aging Manning.

To be fair, we dont know anything about Davis Webb yet.

I get where you guys are coming from but sadly the guy is probably right
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                        # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                        2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                        3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                        4-New York Giants!!!
                        5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Well SF Should of won but managed to stay winless so we're behind them and Cleveland also lost and is 0-6 so I'm not sure what teams were competing with for a high Draft pick did well? SD won their second in a row so maybe them

A couple of more wins and Mara will give them contract extensions

I'm thrilled the Giants finally got their first win and didn't embarrass themselves in prime-time. While I'll enjoy the win it doesn't change the fact that they dug themselves into a deep hole by going 0-5 and that they would pretty much have to win out to make the playoffs, which isn't happening.
One of these teams is not like the others
