Yards per carry today right back down to 2.7.
3rd and short, not a prayer to convert running the ball. We can't convert running left, right or center.
This is frighteningly similar to last year's results.
No one remembers who came in second.

Was expected. Seattle you knew would stack the box and take away the run after watching the Denver Game and the Giants had no answer and not one to throw to
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
    2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
    4-New York Giants!!!
    5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Over 20 minutes of possession by the Seahawks in the first half is a reflection of so many 3 and outs (or nearly 3 and out) by the O.

"Committing to the run" is just a bunch of jargon. You can't commit to the run when you line up a bunch of softees on the OL every week. Empty words drive me nuts.

In fairness, a lot of that time of possession was on the defense, they couldnít stop a third down.

Wrong -- defense is good enough to go to the playoffs -- offense couldn't win in college level ball

Iím not claiming the defense isnít good, Iím saying they allowed extensive drives. Sure the offense didnít help, at all, but be realistic.

......and in fairness, we were leading in the game.

Let's go by the numbers, they converted 42% of their 3rd and 4th downs. We converted 16%.

If you believe it does, then it does.......

It doesn't have to be true, you just have to believe it is true.

3rd and 1 or shorter this team is dead last in converting.
If that's not a kick to the balls to the offensive line and backs I don't know what is.

The important thing is that by the end of the season we get that corrected.

Itís your statistics, Iím not defending the offense, they were atrocious, but allowing 42% conversion also speaks for itself. I guess we can agree to disagree

Insanity is trying to run up the middle many times and expecting different results... considering our offensive line.

OL play on 3rd and short is the most physical part of an extraordinarily physical game and we lose more of those battles (by far) than any team in football. The stat line had us dead last in the league on 3rd and short.

It is shameful that we put such soft men out there to play year in and year out.

Worse and truly embarrassing is that our GM has repeatedly said that the "talent is there on the OL".
