  • What a disgrace

Just back from the latest debacle . . . our defense played lights out for most of the game but the offense was beyond impotent. You have to feel horrible for the defensive players . . . i have never seen an NFL team so good on defense and so bad on offense. The saddest part was when the NYG came out for the last drive that was meaningful and threw 3 straight passes on which they gained 0 yards -- heinous play calling, as if they put up the white flag.

This is all no real surprise -- when you have a moronic GM who leaves Tunsil on the board to take Apple (who played well, by the way) and leaves Gurley on the board -- who sticks with an OL of misfits at every position -- who hires a coach with no imagination in play calling and an adversity to telling the fans anything about what's going on. Reese is like #45 in the White House-- a know nothing who lucks out now and then.

No chance whatsoever Mara sticks with this lackluster, unfriendly and incompetent team -- Reese and Mac -- past this year. Feel bad for Eli -- being hung out to dry.

By the way, Seattle is a pretender, just like the entire NFC east -- screwball team with no offense other than what their QB can create because he is mobile. They are a disaster waiting to happen. If we had any offense, we win today by 3 touchdowns.

    And the officiating was abysmal.

Lights out for most of the game?? Didnt they give up over 400 yards to an anemic Seattle offense?? This is not the same defense from last year. The defense gave up a million 3rd down plays to Doug freaking Baldwin.

This defense as a whole looks lost. Outside of Snacks no one showed up today. I'm very disappointed in Collins. He was great last year, this year he looks like a rookie again.

You didn't watch the first half close enough -- they were outstanding. Second half they weakened because the offense was so anemic and rarely on the field.

Dead wrong -- idiots will blame Spagnola or the defense -- those who have no understanding of the game. The final stats meant nothing.

But isn't football 60 minutes?? How many crucial 3rd down plays did they give up to Doug Baldwin?? What about the blown coverage to Jimmy Graham that he dropped?? They had a great goal line stand but to say that they played lights out against a terrible Seahawks offense is going overboard.

Have to disagree, the defense couldn’t get a stop, particularly on Seattle’s 2nd, Drive, don’t know how many 3rd downs then converted.

Ignore them. You can't point to yardage given up by the D when our offense kept going 3 and out. The time of possession in the first half was >20 minutes for Seattle. That wasn't because we weren't getting stops it was because the O was getting no first downs and the D had to trot back out immediately. It was a great goal line stand btw.

BTW, I was looking at the box score.............we registered 3.3 yards per attempt............smh.

If you would like to apogize, I’ll accept. Look, we’re all frustrated, but name calling is unecessary and unprofessional

I thought the D put up a good game until they were gassed/demoralized by the putrid offense and specials.
