  • It's a shame that lost in all of this...

That the Run Blocking has been terrific and that Evan Engram looks like the real deal.

Unfortunately there are 7 or 8 other messes going on right now that obscures these two things.

I watch mostly to see Engram play. It seems like we have a baller. Otherwise, I'm looking into my beer instead. Has the run blocking been good? Good to hear. But, they'll all be ripped apart this coming off season anyway.

Yeah, it has been a lot better with Jones/Fluker.

Engram is pretty much the only reason to watch the giants right now. Sterling Shepard is mildly another reason.

hard to argue we have a lot of receiving talent.

I was there and it seemed to me that the pass blocking was a tad better, too. Eli had more than 1.5 seconds and actually had time to throw a couple of deep passes. He overthrew them, and Shep made a very weak effort to reach up or jump up for the one that was thrown over him... but, the point is, there was a bit more time.

Engram is the best TE we've had in the last 6 years easily, he has been awesome.

he's definitely a part of the future here

                  Sadly that’s not saying much.

"Never mind that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?" lol

But you're right, even in this dark time, there are some bright spots. Even our LT has shown improvement. But I know that's a touchy subject here.

                      We have some, yes.

But... everyone seems to over-rate Giants receivers, and that's been the case for over a decade. (See: Cruz last year).

Brandon Marshall is damaged goods... Sheperd has more to prove.

We're talking Beckham and Engram. I wouldn't oversell it

They’ve both earned new contracts. We gotta keep SOMEONE to be able to field 5 guys next season. Jones and Fluker are the most deserving. Plus they should save us some cash compared to Richburg or Pugh.

                            Run blocking was better? Meh.

I saw Gallman create his own hole and have good yardage, only to fumble on the series.

Engram impressed me and i'm still content with Collins play

He has been, and he is tough, and he is a fighter. I think if they moved him to Guard, he could be really good. I like Flowers attitude and his toughness. He is just not a Left Tackle, and I wish the team would have done right by him and played him elsewhere. He is still fighting despite his shortcomings as an athlete. And that is not a dig on him. He could be a good Guard. In fact if we had at One Guard and Fluker at another Guard I would like that. Fluker can move guys.
