  • Ereck Flowers improving?

Saw this stat buried in a story in the Post:
Believe this at your own risk. Ereck Flowers is developing at left tackle. Since Week 2, he has not allowed a sack in 282 pass blocking snaps, according to Pro Football Focus, the best of an offensive tackle in that span. His run blocking needs work PFF ranks him 70th out of 77 offensive tackles. Flowers, though, is not getting beaten nearly as often in the pass game.

Yes. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of Hart. When Pugh got hurt yesterday it was the beginning of the end.

Hart has a lot less experience than Flowers, but I hope it doenst take him as long to improve.

      Hart has been absolutely brutal.

Flowers is much improved in pass protection. Guys more in the know can speak to his technique deficiencies but the optics are that he's keeping Eli clean and not getting a lot of calls against him.

It's a surprise, actually. I had given up all hope. Pugh looked awful yesterday, as did Hart. Hart should be released immediately. He has ZERO value. If Flowers does develop into a starting left tackle, that's one less O lineman to worry about replacing.
