  • How did we go from having the best secondary to this?

It just doesn't make any sense.

Last year the Giants fielded the greatest secondary in the team's history, and all of them returned.

What the hell could have possibly happened to that group?

I cannot imagine a Head Coach upsetting a position group so bad that they quit on themselves and their teammates.

Obvious lack of effort coupled with well-timed suspensions?

The defense decided to suck along with the offense now?

Gotta look at the tape to answer that question.

Because Reese doesn't realize a pass rush is more important. He spends limited salary cap money and high draft picks on the secondary before building a pass rush. That is *** backwards.

He does the same on offense. Accrues weapons before building a quality OL. *** backwards.

I can't wait until he is fired.

Jenkins should be suspended the rest of the year for quitting on his teammates. Eli, snacks and others are busting their butts an don't deserve a teammate like that.

A bunch of frontrunning fake tough guys got their butts trucked over by the cowboys lions and eagles and then gave up.

Also. To quote them. They bought the hype.

They probably stopped working as hard.

Something must have happened in that locker room we don't know about yet. Unless my theory about OBJ never being disciplined backfired when Mac gave him a pass and ridiculed somebody on that defense.

Only a HC over his head delivers "indefinite suspensions" repeatedly to demonstrate to his wife that he is a tough guy.
Amateur hour at the Timex Center really.
No one remembers who came in second.

Yes. It was obvious when the defense stepped on the field in the first game. Something happened in the offseason.

Last year they had a pretty decent pass rush, but they let the glue holding the line together bolt. This year Vernon and JPP have been invisible. Also Line-backing crew is worse than last year. You can't mask those weaknesses for long in the NFL. Add to those facts Mac stepping in and benching Apple (I agreed) along with the suspensions and we now have a rebellion on our hands. It's one of the reasons I feel they should have fired Mac yesterday. But that's my take for what it's worth.

What are you talking about? The giants have 2 of the top 10 highest paid dlinemen in the league. Snacks is in the top 30. And they have used like 3 2nd round draft picks on dt over the past several years.
