THIS is the guy some folks have suggested would be a "good" head coach here.
The guy who coached the worst defense in team history 2 years ago. The worst defense in NFL history in New Orleans.....and now the worst defense AGAIN in the NFL through 12 games.

And let's forget his 10-38 record as a head coach? I can't think of a single NFL coach, at any level, with a worse record of failure than Spagnuolo.

I'm really wondering how bad a guy's record has to be before we think he "just might" not be the right guy here. I get why he was given the interim job for the last 4 games but he needs to be fired 5 minutes after the Redskins game.

This defense is an absolute disgrace and is at the heart of our failure this season.
Not big fan of his after this season.

I gave him a pass at NO because the team was in total disarray that season.

But you are right. The defense let us down big time with guys collecting big checks they didnít earn.

I gotta agree. If you want to say it is because they gave up on McAdoo fine but realize that means they wouldnt play for spags either. IMO this whole team with the exception of a few players needs to be broken down and rebuilt from the ground up

If the offense can do less 3 and outs and actually score points, the defense would be much better. They cant hold down the fort every game like last year.

That said, I think there was a lot of dysfuction this year hurting too. Apple, Jenkins and DRC all were suspended at points. Imagine that last year.

The offense is still the issue, but the defense will need some more too. A LB would be nice to have.

How he survived his horrific performance in 2015 is beyond me.
"Continuity" when the current state is bad...seems ridiculous policy. yet with McAdoo and Spagnuolo..that's what we got. The results of that have put us here with this terrible football team.

My hope is that Mr. Mara finally sees that. If not.......my hope is that any new GM that comes in with insist upon a new direction for this football team.
You would think any gm coming in will be allowed to hire his own guys and he swims or sinks with them.

This team was in disarray this season also. I think these next few games will give an indication if these guys are willing to go to war for Spags.

Donít worry about it. He will be fired upon the conclusion of he season. He is just the most logical interim and interims are always given a chance to interview for the job as a respectful gesture. No way in hell he will get it - I am highly confident that John Mara has learned a lot of lessons in the last two weeks.

believe me: if Jerry Reese got fired then there is no way any one of the current coaches is surviving. No way

Don't forget about the special teams. Missed fgs, punt return for td, shanked punts, kick off out of bounds.

Maybe they learned and thatís why the hired EA as a consultant. They need to realize that they donít know **** about running the football operations.

No Turnovers this year, no sacks this year, turning guys loose on third down regularly. The D really has let us down. I think it happened because McAdoo alienated these guys.

The next HC needs to be a guy that has been a good HC somewhere and really views the entire team as equal. Mike Smith, David Shaw are two guys off the top of my head.

Idk the GM might make the decision but John Mara will be right there hands on everything. And if his brother gets the job like he is hoping forget about it.
