Can still play, just not at a high level

Watching Eli's ball in flight, it looks like he has lost velocity on his passes (happens to pitchers in MLB as they get older too). Eli has had trouble in his career to maintain a solid spiral on his passes and it hinders his game in cold weather matchups and slightly windy games. The ball starts coming out like a "lame duck" with the end of the football wobbling. That makes catching the football more difficult. But with that being said, its not like we have elite receivers out there right now. Its pretty much all practice squad players who were undrafted in the NFL Even if you had 1 good WR out there, teams could just double him like they were doing with Odell the one year when all the other WRs went down. I've definitely seen Eli's passing regress but it is actually very difficult to assess because the offense has been such a mess throughout the year. We could never establish the run (today was a GREAT day for running the ball and notice how we put up points because of that!) and our receiving core was dwindled down to hardly anyone.

Agreed, a W and #2 pick was preserved thanks to IND. Good day

Pretty much solidifies taking QB in round 1.

Especially since the Colts won too.

During the game it was said Giants only had 9 passes over 20 yards. I think that speaks more on the WR then it does on ELI. I bet at least a few of those are Beckham catches.
Just remember Kevin Love makes more money then OBJ, and OBJ also dunks better.

Eli did more at the LOS today than he has done all season ... getting the team into the correct play to be successful

he compensated for the lack of receiving threats and for the depleted O line with his brain today

so look at the numbers all you want ... Eli Manning won that game today by dissecting defensive looks and adjusting

Eli also made some gorgeous throws today ... and put quite a bit of sauce of a few of them

I thought he played well, if not for Adams (Iron Hands) the game would have been a laugher. Lost count on drops at 7 or 8. Line came to play and moved the pile for the running game to have the best day in what 2 years. Subtraction can often lead to addition. Witness Flowers bundled up on the sideline, best he's looked in three years. The naysayers be damned Eli was the general today.

Who was a better QB today Eli or Cousins?

He played well enough to win but the int and drops didn't help

The TD pass was a thing of beauty that he really zipped in there. However, to many drops and some bad plays by Eli as well.
