Yeah , carried is a good word for it! Not that he did it all by himself but he was insanely clutch for both SBs

We scored 17 points the first Super Bowl. I wouldn't say he carried anything, he made some crucial throws but carried, nah.

Well if the receiver runs the wrong route or the OL doesn't give Eli time, then it's not his fault. You, CubicZirconaRing, and The Anal-ist all need a dose of football 101.

Lol you don't get it. Eli fans would make excuses for Eli even though the WR didn't run the wrong route or if the O-LINE gave him enough time. Because in their eyes, he's NEVER at fault.

Well, at least it's yet another thread about a Giants quarterback who has actually taken an NFL snap

Yeah but Eli had less. To work with little talented receivers to work with and Brady scored .less.

That year, we had a great O-LINE, great running game and good WRs. And Brady scored less because our front 4 dominated their O-LINE.

Giants scored just 17 points and you said they had a great O-line and good receivers. Offense should of had more than just 17 points.

so its ok for Brady and the Pats to not score enough points but its Eli's fault the Giants only scored 17.?
How many SB teams dont have a very good to great oline and very good to great defense?

                          not many

This thread is not good natured.
Everyone that posted in this thread except for Bronx, Game time, and Don are Eli haters.
