Gonna be interesting to see what Fewell does having Osi back..JPP sounds like he doesn't mind taking the back seat ..at least in rotation. Keeping these guys fresh through out the game could be the trick we need to hammer at Romo..could get to the point that these two are rushing so effectively they draw DubCuv..and free up Tuck?...Either way..having two weapons on Pass rush, has to have Dallas very nervous rigt now.

My money is on Osi starting but who knows. Either way it doesn't matter much, both will get plenty of snaps.

No brainer. JPP plays as many downs as he is able and Osi gives him a breather every once in a while or comes in for a tackle to load up pass rushers on an obvious passing down. JPP, by his answer shows us that he is already much smarter than the media guys trying to bait him. Go Blue!
No one remembers who came in second.

nah....Osi wont even be ready to go all out. If the Giants beat the Cowboys you will see a miraculous recovery next week.....

If it were up to me, Osi would only be in on obvious passing downs.

Knowing this team however, if Osi is up to it, he'll start. (reference Baas).

i cant fathom fewell or coughlin taking jpp out of the starting line up. guys a pro bowler and a serious canidate for dpoy, you dont take guys like him out.

i suspect we'll see a lot of jpp at both de spots, osi coming in to play his usual spot, and tuck playing a bunch over the rookie guard who is replacing there injured guard.

              starting will look like:

              jpp canty joseph tuck

alot of snaps will look like this:

              osi tuck canty/tollefson jpp

some snaps will look like this:

              osi canty joseph jpp

and occasionally on passing downs it will be:

              kiwi
              osi tuck tollefson jpp

edit- and some snaps will look like this when jpp and tuck challenge the A gap

              Jpp Tuck
              osi V V tollefson
which all equals a lot of romo on the ground

Osi should only be in there when JPP really needs a play or two off. He isn't nearly as good as JPP at this point and he shouldn't be taking any snaps away from our best defensive player.

Just for the record, I'm not saying that this will be the case. Just that it should be.

I don't start any other DE over JPP. He wreaked havoc against the 'boys last time and they'll be trying to double up on him this time, allowing for others to be singled up and get free.

Why would a less than 100% Osi or Tuck start over JPP?

This is my thought.... I would like to keep the man playing like an animal in... and maybe switch TUCK and OSI out alot... and give JPP a break a bit

I agree with this. Even when he's healthy, Osi is hardly an every down player.

He is an abject liability against the run and his speed rush, go for the strip on every play mentality makes him a great long yardage specialist and situational player.

I think his days of being an every down player are done. Unfortunately that also probably hurts his trade vale
