  • So much frustrating stuff being said. I'll just make a blanket post.

    1. Just because eli doesn't get sacked doesn't mean he doesn't get hit or pressured into an interception or, hell, both.

    2. The fact that our run game got better because diehl switched to LT is an absolute fantasy. Correlation does not mean causation.

    3. The selection of Pugh will always have been a terrible pick. If he somehow does not beat out Diehl (barring injuries) then I'm going to need a new adjective to describe the pick.

    4. Diehl has been absolutely terrible for years. To the point that he was arguably the worst starting OL in the entire league. Hes lucky to be collecting a paycheck this year.

      2. Spare me......great QB's are supposed to overcome injuries with the WR's. Look at Rodgers last year with all their injuries at WR.
      3. I forget what #3 was but I'm sure it was a doozie!
      1. My mistake. Tough schedule though.
      2. Eli is not as good as Rodgers. What would Troy Aikmen have been without The Playmaker?
      3. I don't know what went wrong but it wasn't all on Diehl

Eli didnt have agood season. He will say the same thing. Why do feel the need to point out the obvious
Because I like to have fun with Gabriel.
He seems to be the kind of guy who can take it and dish it back out.

Eh? Nelson played 12 games, James Jones was healthy all season, Cobb played 15 games. Finley was healthy all season, and Jennings was healthy for 8 games.

As for Rogers easily overcoming those injuries, his stats suffered quite a bit. His yards per attempt fell from 9.2 to 7.8, his TDs fell by 6.

Eli probably had less statistical variance between 2012 and 2011 than Rodgers did. And Eli certainly did not have the weapons that Rodgers did last season either. Though he did have a better run game and OL. Though the giants run game died off a couple games too after Bradshaw and Brown were injured

Yeah he dropped to 39 TD's and 4300 yards. And rose to a whopping 8 int's.
The kid flat sucked without his starters.

So did Eli. More so than Rodgers.

Rodgers was coming off what many think was the greatest regular season in NFL history.
