    For the Giants, there is an unending amount to dissect during a major transition from a 2017 disaster to a 2018 draft darling and, they hope, a contender once again next fall.

    We're here to answer all of your Big Blue questions in this week's mailbag, on the heels of last weekend's rookie minicamp and preceding the start of the Giants' organized team activities (OTAs) — a stretch of 10 practices beginning next Monday and running intermittently up until the mandatory minicamp on June 12-14. Question from @Cstonewpxinews: "Which rookie besides (Saquon) Barkley will have the biggest impact this season?"

    Chris, I'm very high on Lorenzo Carter's potential to contribute immediately to James Bettcher's defense. The 6-6, 243-pound third-round pick, an athletic outside linebacker out of Georgia, actually looks more like a basketball player out on the field. But he is fast and covers a lot of ground and is versatile. And I think he'll be one of the more exciting players to watch in Bettcher's 3-4 defense this season, because the new defensive coordinator loves to blitz and tailor assignments to his players' strengths, and Carter can get upfield in a hurry (he was on fourth-round QB Kyle Lauletta quickly and in his face on a roll out to force an incompletion in one drill at rookie camp)."     He very well could be a steal in the 3rd rd. Hope the article is correct.
