  • WR Russell Shepard says he is joining Giants

    https://www.bigblueview.com/2018/5/2...ts-rumors-news

Excerpt: "We have been speculating for a while about the possibility of the New York Giants adding an experienced wide receiver to compete for the No. 3 role in their receiving corps. Well, it looks like the Giants have done that.

It’s not Dez Bryant ... or Eric Decker ... or even Jeremy Maclin.

Former Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Russell Shepard has posted a Giants logo on his Instagram account with the words “new home same grind.”

Shepard spent four years with the Buccaneers and last season with the Panthers. He caught 17 passes last season. Carolina released him a week ago after he reportedly refused to accept a pay cut on a three-year, $10 million contract he signed before the 2017 season." Read more...

How in the world does this help ? 5 years in the league and never has been accomplished. For what reason ? To me a complete waste of time. I would think he has a better chance of being cut than making the roster.

    Have moved to Rosie's board

Don't get it. So the Giants are going to give him that kind of money?? If so why not try to throw it at Dez, Decker or Maclin??

        Makes no sense at all
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

        # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
        2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
        3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
        4-New York Giants!!!
        5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Does he have a guarantee contract.?
Or, if he makes the 53 man roster ?
