    Thanks for the link.

Did you notice that Orleans Darkwa faced 8 men in the box 44.44% of the time? Kind of blows a hole in the theory that defenses just dropped everybody back into coverage because they didn't respect the Giants running game.

      I liked Gallman too
It's a shame he's getting buried on the depth chart

I would be very surprised if Gallman wasn't given a serious chance. His 2017 success was well noted. When you can average 4.3 ypc behind last year"s OL it speaks well for you. He also had around 30 or so catches and came through in the clutch more than once.

Love when the naysayers are hit with facts, they tend to slink back into their caves soon after.

Why would the D drop everyone back in coverage last yr? What WR in the lineup put fear into opposing Ds after OBJ went down? I'm pretty sure they stacked the box on obvious running downs & played off on obvious 2nd & 3rd & long downs. This yr, they will not have that luxury of stacking the box with OBJ back in the lineup & SB in the backfield regardless of down & distance.

Just reporting the canned response I got every time I tried to point out that Wayne Gallman averaged 4.3 ypc in 2017.

I like Gallman & would expect the Giants to give him 10-12 touches per game.

Gallman was a spread RB for McAdoo's scheme.
DG a good GM but he's not the coach at this point in there careers Gallmen is the better option he was a goal line short yardage specialist at LSU,that would be like throwing OBJ and Engrem back because JR drafted them Gallmen has talent he's a tough runner and gets behind his pads.

here you these reports sometimes make very little sense because they don't even know the roster.

Not if Jonathan Stewart is the second back.

Yeah, half the time I hear that Giants opponents stacked the box in 2017. The other half of the time, I hear that they dropped everybody into coverage. Whatever is most convenient for the poster's argument at the time, I guess

I'm thinking he will mostly be used in short yd situation & in GL plays. I'd like to see Gallman lined up with SB on 1st & 2nd dn.
