I love it. Absolutely love it. It's like NY Knicks fans that say "Yo although we lost 110-112 to the Nets, at least Carmelo had 59 points, 11 Reb, and 10 Asts! What a Beast! He's on pace for 4,100 points this seaosn!!"

What do all those stats matter if it's in a loss? It doesn't. Tony Romo had 500 yds and 5 TDs last night, but it means absolutely **** unless you're a fantasy owner.
It does matter. It means he played well.

There are another 50 something players who also have to do their jobs.

Romo played great yesterday. It's not his fault his defense allowed 51 points.

Jernigan and Randle were showing they could ball plenty. I mean Jernigan should, right? He's been on the roster for a few years now. Why keep Nicks around to showboat for these 100-yd games that don't matter, when we can use him as value to start re-building the OL or LB core? Makes no sense to keep him around to build pointless stats, especially when he's not mentally in the game anymore. He quits. He's like a 10 year old not getting his way in a Pop Warner game.

Jernigan and Randle? Didn't they also get pointless stats yesterday?

Trade Cruz then too. He's getting pointless stats as well.

Neither of them is on Nicks' level right now. You point out Nicks' drops but say nothing a bout Randle's in the same game?

Nicks has value, obviously. But these drops don't help, and we're not keeping him around next year. Why keep the extra weight for nothing?

You obviously don't see my point when you're coming up with asinine **** like "Trade Cruz, too". Don't be moronic, look at the bigger picture. Keeping Nicks around this year just so he can have one more 1,000 yd season as a Giant and we can help him get a bigger pay day somewhere else? This isn't 4H Girl Scouts club where we help each other excel - it's a business. We're 0-5 at this point, I think we can be realists and say playoffs are out of the picture.

No, you're right. Keep Nicks around so we can at least go 5-11 with him possibly. Show some great upside for him somewhere else next season!

Now he quits? 10 year old not getting his way? You sir, have no clue what you are talking about.

If they don't keep Nicks then they have to draft another receiver highly to be their #1.

Moving a 1k yard #1 receiver for a different position is a lateral move. It doesn't improve the team. It just switches around the need areas.

And they absolutely can keep Nicks if they want.

But either way. How and where do you find a replacement for him if he goes. Jernigan and Randle are not 1k yard X receivers.

Did you see how long it took Hakeem to get to his position after the no huddle towards the end of the game? Lmao, it's a complete joke. The guy gave up.

So you don't think Rueben Randle is capable of excelling at that spot? Why did we even draft him them?

9 catches for 143 yards. But he's a joke because he took too long to line up once.

                          To replace Manningham.

A team needs 3 good receiving options to have an effective passing offense.

If Randle makes those catches, WHICH WERE DIMES, the trajectory of the game changes. There's a possibility the Gints could have opened a big lead if he comes down with those 2 drops. Immediately in the red zone if both of those are caught. I wonder if the Gints have drills in practice where they have a QB (not Eli to save his arm) heave balls down the field with a man covering and the receiver's gotta come down with it.

Randle could have had a monster day. What's happening with Eli now is that the skill positions aren't making those spectacular plays for the most part. There's no screen to Nicks where he takes it down the field 50 yards. There's no RB busting out a run for 50 yards. Over this 5 game stretch, Cruz is the only one close to consistently making big plays.

He also dropped a pass in the endzone that went through both palms of his hands.

No other receiver ever has a drop. This is true.
