  • Apropos Of Nothing ...

... who would you rather have as DC, Rex Ryan or Lovie Smith?

Smith fits our current system and personnel better, but Rex Ryan is the better DC (imo).

    Too soon?
I don't always root for the Cowboys but when I do I wear my pink Jessica Simpson edition Romo jersey. (yes I lost a bet)

    Rex Ryan in a landslide......this team can't play a Tampa 2.

I don't care about his attitude with the Jets.

He could still coach that defense.

Rex is too in love with his own personality and will attract antagonizing circus press for the rest of his career.. His style of D sure.

Has it gotten so bad that Sheryl Crow lyrics pass for thread titles around here? Then again, lighting matches and cursing them out doesn't sound like a bad idea.

I love the way Lovie's team dominates in the takeaway catagory

The Jets are currently 2-1 with a top 5 defense, Rex might be buying himself another year or two over there.

So yeah, maybe a tad to soon.

That defense is pretty awesome, they are holding that team...although their offense looks better than what I and other people most likely expected.

Agree. Definitely didn't see that coming, much like our 0-3 record.

Rex and Gilbride get along great.

This is all very true but nothing lasts forever... talking about your quote about Eli. Now as far as Rex, he isn't going anywhere.

They've played one team with a winning record and lost...they wont be playing Tampa and Buffalo every week..

Do you think the Giants can beat Tampa or Buffalo?
