  • Giants' Terrell Thomas appears on injury report with a knee issue

Obviously, a few of them are no surprise. As we reported yesterday, Hynoski's season was likely done. The Giants made that official by placing him on IR this morning. Also we reported the soreness for Chris Snee, who may rest the hip for a little while.

Terrell Thomas (knee) is a new one, though. Tom Coughlin speaks shortly so we'll update the situation as it progresses.

Players come and go on the Free Agency Merry-Go-Round, but the N.Y. Giants will always be here!

It was just a matter of time before he had some sort of knee issues.
The report is vague so no idea if its his knee with multiple surgeries.
Hopefully it's nothing more than soreness, but my gut says worse when the reports are "knee issues"
He was playing so well too.

              Dont jump the gun, plaxico.

              Hopefully its just some soreness.

At the game he was actually jogging and making cuts at the sideline by himself.

Eh, this guy has issues a lot.... he won't get any better health-wise.

I know... If he does in fact have something wrong with his knee. His career is over.

Dang. He was playing better then I ever remember him so far this year. So, when does Ross follow him to the injury report?

Do you guys think this could be just the begining of the team "getting hurt". Does T2 see the writing on the wall and doesnt want to get hurt for real so he can ball next year?
WE ALREADY HAVE A GREAT RUNNING BACK:

He is not hurt. Just read injury report on Star-Ledger. Coughlin is holding him out as a precautionary move only. Said he will hold him out of one practice a week for remainder of season. Move is just to keep him intact. Coughlin used the word "Manage his injury". It appears he is fine otherwise.

Terrell's knee does not sound serious. He's going on the injury list to be managed.

Terrell Thomas was moving around doing some individual drills so it's not as if he's been shut down.

Given this guy's injury history, why even bring him back in the first place? It's just another dumb decision, imo.
