What about trading ELI for a 1st to some team?

If we really want to blow it up, we could look into(not definetly do) a trade for ELI, and get a additonal 1st rd pick, and ELI is gonna be 33 after this yr, and has been on downswing for a couple yrs and as statue as hes always been, hes losing more footspeed, which i never thought possible. Hes almost Drew Bledsoe out there right now.. In his prime he was a high INT% QB, and now is past his prime. Hes been a great GIANT qb, but this is a bussiness, and getting as many young studs to go along with the Prince's, JPP's, Cruz's..etc, is the way to go.. Were really light on top flight talent, and need to start building a new foudnation.

Thats how i feel, and i love everything ELI's done for us. Multiple 1st rd picks, and a qb whos developing as we speak all ready in Nassib(not that i love em, but still). We could go many diffrent ways, plus we'd have Nicks off the books, and hopefully Webster and Baas.. We could resign LInval Joseph and go from there..

Ask yourself this: Does anybody think Eli is "replaceable"?

And before you answer, think of how our system works, and think of what we have right now.

People may look at other QB's and say wow omg they would excel in our offense! I don't think so, especially not a rookie.

Based on what? I bet there are many teams that would line up for his services. And replace him with who? An unproven rookie? A castoff from another team? Smh, be careful what you wish for.

If the ownership decided it was time to clean house and rebuild (new GM, coaches etc.), a team would probably be willing to trade a first rounder for him.

If he was good still, i'd say ya. Plus he can't move in the pocket at all. Get something why you still can. Everyone is happy with ELI's career as a whole, but come on!!! Why are people being so stubborn about this? Its like common sense almost.

Especially when we have no damn options! People think guys like Rodgers and Luck show up all the damn time, they don't!. Most of us old enough had to wait until 1979 before we got something similar to a long term solution after Tittle retired, and despite what history says today, back then we didn't even know the Simms would amount to anything. People forget that we booed when Simms was drafted. People forget that he was "Prince Valiant" for awhile. People forgot that Simms was sat by Parcells for Scott Brunner!

People who talk about how horrible Eli is now obviously didn't live threw the early years or Simms. Either that or they are so blinded by nostalgia or are so arrogant about how good they are playing General Manager on Madden that they don't seem to understand that having a Two Time Superbowl MVP QB is a problem that most every other team wished they had.

Without Luck Manning would still be playing in the stadium he built. With Young people wouldn't have seen Montana playing with Marcus Allen. Does legends lost their "life time spot" because the team had OPTIONS. The Giants DON'T right now.

We have Curtis Painter and Ryan Nassib. Do you see the difference here? We aren't getting rid for a first. We defiantly aren't when there is no starter out there to bring in, no quick guarantee. You people have lost your freaking minds.

The last time we even hinted at something stupid like this Phil Simms retired, Hostetler was already traded and we were stuck with Dave Brown. Oh but we could rebuild in the draft! Yeah right.

Keep playing your Madden Games boys.
