Lets see who we played this season who made the playoffs in 2010:

      Patriots
      Jets
      Packers
      Saints
      Seahawks
      Eagles 2x

      Thats 7 games!

The way they are playing, I agree. They are peaking at the right time. They way I see it, after next Sunday, Packers then the Saints, then and date in Indy on the 5th.

Schedules are the schedules, only 2 opponents are based on divisional seeding.

On average, only about half the teams in one year's playoffs make the playoffs the following year....

I watch the Steelers/Ravens on a consistent basis (live in MD), they're nowhere near as good as it seems. The AFC is weak, and they feast on a really weak offensive division.

Yeah, it's not always who you play but when you play them. Some of these playoff team may stink next year. OTOH, some of the punching bags might be much improved.

Saints - Tough team. Will they still be next year? Could be sans Colston and they could move down from a great team to a good one.
Steelers - Getting older. Much Older. Wont be terribly tough.
Packers - Will still be a tough game but we can do it.
Falcons - Up and down team. Who knows what we get next year.
Ravens - Getting older as well. We can beat them.
Bengals - Young team. Might be a bit tough.
Niners - I wonder if they were a one year wonder. We will soon find out next year.

Well, with hopefully a healthy team finally, some added pieces and some young guns with some real game time experience.

                        I say bring them on...

As it was said before. They should fear us!

We played the Saints and Packers this season (again next season) compared to the Bears and Falcons or Vikings and Bucs or Lions and Panthers. It is a huge difference.

The Bears/Falcons and Lions/Panthers seem almost as difficult as Packers/49ers do. You have to expect Bears/Lions/Panthers are all poised to IMPROVE no less after this year while the Packers/49ers probably won't be better than they are now. It all evens out in the end. Only the Redskins have a big advantage getting two futile teams - but then again they had that this year too and didn't do anything with it.

The Eagles will play Saints, Falcons, Ravens, Bengals, Steelers, Giants, and Lions so they will tie us with 7 play off opponents, but since they face us twice, that's 8 games.

Dallas and Washington will play Saints, Falcons, Ravens, Bengals, Steelers, Giants (2x) so 7 games against playoff teams

So, at least it's going to be quite even.
