  • Enigma's gameball goes to...

Terence Newman, CB, Dallas Cowboys - Newman had a great game for the Giants as he had a poor day of making tackles, getting beat in coverage, and serving as a hurdle for a few Giants players. Without his game, it might have not been so easy for the Giants to move the ball. So here's the gameball for our pal Newman.

Who do you think deserves the gameball?

Sleeper pick: David Baas. I thought he played a really nice game against one of the best, Jay Ratliff.

Linval would also be a good sleeper pick. He hustled out there and made a few good tackles.

Here's another top notch candidate: Jason Babin, DE, Philadelphia Eagles - The placement of his helmet that led up to the collision with Romo's hand gave us an edge in our victory as Romo didn't go too deep often. Babin might of had 18+ sacks but this play here could of been his biggest moment for the playoff picture.

it wasnt like newman was making mental mistakes or just flat stupid plays and penalties. he was just getting out talented by nicks/cruz/ and eli. he was always just a step behind our guys, but a step is a huge difference between an ok play and a great one.

the hurdles was almost the same thing. he was trying to go low on bigger guys and our guys just out talented him. just my opinion tho, he certainly got killed last night on national television.

game balls-eli, cruz, the defense as a unit...and the fans at the stadium for setting the mood and keeping the players motivated.

Newman is 40 years old , cowboys are dumb for starting him so long.
