  • Marc Ross interviewed by Colts

    Marc Ross, Giants Director
of College Scouting, is interviewing for the Indianapolis Colts GM
position today, according to league source.

What are your thoughts on if he leaves? I'm kind of split on Reese's picks, which are pretty much based on Ross' scouting. I guess if we lost him it might be a bad thing.

It'd be a terrible thing, but good for him.

If you look at what he's done with these draft classes since joining the Giants in "07" I think everyone would hope that he stays. The guy is young, talented, and damn good at what he does. Pretty sure he was up for the GM job in Seattle last year or the year before. Some team will eventually luck up and scoop him up and make him their GM and he'll be Jerry Reese 2.0 for that team.

Good luck to him -- he's been great, he deserves it, and I wish him the very best.

He'd probably love that job. 1st overall pick, and if he wants to trade it he will get kings ransom.

I saw a tweet earlier in the week that indicated he might be onthe Bears short list as well.

Please no...please please no. He was crucial in the push for Terrell Thomas I remember that. He's good no doubt.
