All of these FA moves show that the Giants were serious about retooling the team on offense, defense and special teams. They still have work to do, but they seem to be moving in the right direction. I can't wait to see what the finished product looks like, which I hope won't include Painter and Brewer.
One of these teams is not like the others

Actually I think he played Guard for us a game, and did well. Pretty sure he is a center/guard guy though.

Well I just added him to it, since he CAN beat out James for the final CB spot.

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite team in the NFL.

Center and TE are the only scary spots right now. Beatty gets another shot but if by the draft his broken leg seems bothersome they might as well draft a OT high. Still see Ebron, Donald and Evans as the possible picks.

If you are talking about Lewan at #12 he isn't sitting down for any our mediocre tackles.

Hill ahead of Brown and I think hyno ahead of conner

                  OLB: McClain, Paysinger, Williams, Bradford
                  MLB: Beason, Herzlich
CB: Prince, DRC, Thurmond, McBride, Hosley, C.James, Bowman
S: Rolle, Stevie, Hill, Taylor, Demps (PR)
Thanks for doing this. Interesting. This is 52 men. Plus K, DeOssie, Weatherford = 55. Plus 7 draft picks = 62. That means 9 must be cut (plus there will be UDFAs and a camp body or 2 could impress. Not bad considering the number of FAs the giants had...I think the final 53 will look real nice on paper

Uh, yeah he will. Money talks and the money says Beatty isn't losing his starting job or moving to RT so a rookie OT who has personal/off-field issues up the wazoo can start. Oh and Pugh isn't sitting on the bench or moving to Guard. They didn't re-sign Snee and sign John Jerry so that Lewan can start at RT and Pugh can move to Guard.

Only one I disagree with there is James. I think he's proven his value to the team, even if only as a special teamer. If anything, it might be Hosley's job that's in danger if he doesn't show us anything this offseason.

I think you might be right but Reese doesn't usually abandon draft picks after 2 seasons

Bowman I think was signed primarily for ST so he may replace James' workload

Very crowded backfield and that's before draft

Other canditates for chop include 1 of Conner or Hynoski, Mosley and Brewer

I think Brewer is gone (Mosley has shown some promise as a backup though), and the Conner/Hyno will basically be an open competition...

I dont think both Demps and Holliday make it. One is strictly a PR and the other a KR. thats 2 roster spots for very little return. Demps has more experience on D so he might have a better chance. Holliday has done nothing as a WR is his career. both signed 1 yr minimum deals so no guarantee they make the roster and can be cut.
