We need a great LT and WR MUCH more than we need a RB.

If he's relatively cheap him and Jennings would be a pretty sick combo.
            NFL Draft (Realistic Hope):

            Rd 1
            Garrett Bolles - OT
            David Njoku - TE
            Zach Cunningham - OLB

They already signed Maurice Jones-Drew and brought back Darren McFadden. They also need to see what they have in Latavius Murray.

Outside of Peterson and McCoy, RBs aren't worth much at all.

Not a fan of Johnson (especially the current model); hoping this will amount to nothing.

Not with out a real NFL LT.

Even if we could afford him, I wouldn't want ANYTHING to do with him. He got paid has hasn't played a good season since then. Over rated, selfish, money player . Not a "big blue" type of player.

This is ridiculous that we would even entertain the idea. You don't need to pay for a rb these days. There are always PLENTY of rbs that are drafted late that have good careers. RB is probably the easiest transition from college to pros. You don't need to over spend.

If I were GM I would spread rumors that we were interested in guys like Johnson so that other teams would over pay him and deplete their salary cap. It is just another way of getting an edge on our oponents.

"Interest" has nothing to do with us actually signing him though
