  • Hold on to your hat: Giants expect to show interest in RB Chris Johnson

    In Reese We Trust

Giants are expected to show interest in soon to be FA RB Chris Johnson according to Mike Garafolo‪#‎bbuchat‬*‪#‎giants‬

I don't think I like it. Rather draft a RB later in the draft of we go that route.

How can we afford him ? He did well in that weak division but here ? Don't have an opinion here. He was a beast first 3years, but now ? He probably would also be our #1 Rb.

At this point in free agency he doesn't have much value.

wonder what we could even give up for him??? better not be a 1st round draft pick

The Giants can show all the interest they want, but unless they restructure some more contracts to free up some cash they can't afford Johnson. He doesn't want to take a paycut and he would have to take a serious one to come to the Giants.
One of these teams is not like the others

We wouldnt give up anything. He would be a free agent. Not sure how much $ he is looking for though.

A more recent article, still estimating around 8 Mill. Mucha Mula $$$$. We don't have that.

No way gets even close to that at this point in his career. Titans are going to release him because no one is dumb enough to pick up his remaining contract. I personally don't think he would be an upgrade over Jennings.
