how many ways can these guys say the same thing, we get it, and the giants are preparing , just its not even that serious because Eli could by all rights step his game up and have a better season.

The Giants would be crazy to not speculate about Eli. His age and his play over the last 2 years make that inevitable. But since Eli's been so inconsistent throughout his career it's hard to tell whether he's really in decline or if it's just more inconsistency.

But even if Eli had played at a high level for the last 2 years the Giants would still have to speculate about how long he could keep doing it since he's on the wrong side of 30.
One of these teams is not like the others

I want proof of this. I want proof that that is how the front office feels.

I would like a link for that accusation.

It's not an accusation, just a concern and it should be.

...couldn't the title of the article just as easily be, "Giants organization not incompetent"?

as long as TC is coaching, Eli is not going anywhere. They are a match set and I'm sure a new head coach probably wants his own QB to develop.

Eli and TC should have 3 years left as far as windows to win it all.

all this talk of Eli in decline reminds me of the lead up to the 2011 season.....hopefully this ends similarly

blahblah. of course they're looking towards the future and wondering about Eli. they'd be idiots if they weren't.

It's exactly the same. All these stories have been written around the same Dan Graziano report.

                                One question I have:

Last year Ryan Nassib was mocked to the Bills because they felt he would fit in better with Doug Marrones west coast offense than EJ Manuel. The fact that we drafted a QB who fits McAdoo's offense more, I'm wondering if the team had been planning a switch in Offensive philosophy.
