  • How did you feel when Reese called Eli skittish?

Be honest, how did it make you feel , was it justified to light that fire under a struggling QB, or did you resent Reese for doing it?

or maybe you didnt take to much stock of it? please share your thoughts.

Well he did seem skittish in 2013. So I can't really be mad at Reese.

Wait he said Eli was skittish?

I laughed when I first read about it but that has more to do with the fact that Reese has 'interesting' word choice at times when talking to the media. Eli can be a little skittish at times though so I wasn't upset over it.

"Yeah, I saw that a little bit," said former offensive lineman Brian Baldinger, an analyst for Fox and the NFL Network. "You never see him just stay in there and, literally, as he's throwing it, somebody just wallops him. He always will back out and fade away from the throw. That's on tape and that's one reason the Vikings were blitzing."

The Vikings blitzed enough to sack Manning three times and hit him on at least four other occasions. Still, Baldinger felt the Giants "protected him very well," which made Manning's skittishness seem even more surprising.

he did good after being called out , same with 2011 when people chuckled at him thinking he was a s good as brady , it sort of fired him up.

That pisses me off considering the main reason Eli was skittish was the oline that Reese stuck him with

that oline was one of the best in the nfl at that time.

Reese is skittish himself as a talent evaluator based on his draft results.

At the time, I felt it was unnecessary because he threw manning under the bus. I am still not a fan of Reese. It's amazing what happens when a gun gets put to your head. You actually switch tactics and try to make the team better.

no doubt he made some mistakes hanging on to aging vets and bloated contracts. he was spanked by tisch this off season . i see a big difference in his approach. i like it

I do too. Now it is Eli's turn to respond with a gun pointed to his head. He is on notice too. The writing is on the wall.
