  • I hate it when ...

people say that we need to establish long offensive drives to keep Rogers and the Pack offense off the field. Obviously they can't score when they aren't on the field. But they still get their chances with the ball, whether we have a long sustained drive or a quick score.

The point of a long drive is to give our defense a rest, so they play better when they are in. Everyone got it? Good!

I got that, but I also believe that keeping the opposing offense off the field for extended periods helps in keeping their offense from getting into their rhythm. But I have no problem with the Giants scoring quickly - I'll always choose that over not scoring.

Good point, but I think hoping the GB offense doesn't get into their rhythm is kind of like hoping they will become too cold waiting for their turn to play. Rogers is too accurate, IMHO.

So, are you feeling certain that we'll have to win in a shootout to have a chance?

I'm not predicting a shootout at all. I think our Dline is going to play out of their minds and Rogers likely gets hurt often because of it.

                      This.

I like the underdog roll better. We play better when no one thinks we can do something

Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                      # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                      2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                      3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                      4-New York Giants!!!
                      5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Actually, I like when it rains as long as it hasn't been raining for 5 days straight. A spring shower is lovely. But I don't like when it rains on the way to work -- it's messy and makes me sad. ;(

The Pack may want to think about keeping our O off the field as well.
