  • Giants: Old School TEAM with some dynamic new additions

I like the fact that we have a good core group of old veterans on nearly every part of our team--plus, we have some dynamic new guys. An offensive line that seems to have been together for 100 years. A defensive line that is full of old, weathered vets who have played together (such as Osi, Tuck, etc.). We have a QB who has been here for a while. We have Webster in the defensive backfield. We have Jacobs to bring up the running backs. We have many other vets that I didn't mention, and we also have some dynamic new additions since last playoff run, such as JPP and Hakeem Nicks...indeed, nearly the entire receiving corps is new. More than anything, I like our spirit of togetherness this year. Whether we win the game against the Packers or not, it has been a good year, in my opinion.

I like everything except the part about the offensive line. The soul of our "old" offensive line was Ohara and suebert. Our o line is still looking for a new identity. There is a very good chance that both the tackles playing in tomorrow's game will be gone next year.

Nothing on the offensive side of the ball says "old school".

        True
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

        # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
        2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
        3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
        4-New York Giants!!!
        5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!
