Accorsi always loved those run blocking quarterbacks, probably why he wanted to draft him so badly.

But seriously, it was pretty impressive. My God I love this team.

Is it me or is it this season that everytime they show Eli he doesnt look like hes lost, or like a deer in headlights. This season he just seemed different. Like this is my team...jump on and take the ride.

When does Eli ever look like a deer in the headlights or lost? Never! He is Mr.4th quarter, has plenty of comebacks as usual in his career and broke records in the 4th. He has ice water in his veins. He is as cool as a cucumber in pressure situations. When there is 2 minutes left in the game and a team needs a TD to win, Eli is the last QB to freeze like a deer in headlights.

                Re: Eli run-blocking

Uh, in his first 3 to 5 years in the NFL he looked like a deer in headlights. I was just saying this year he seems to be totally different than any other year. Like a light bulb went off over his head. He is not throwing INTs as much, he will throw it away or take a sack instead of throwing it into double coverage. He is much more smarter than any other year.

He should have taken a few steps to the left and blocked Matthews instead.

He even looked faster than usual on that play - maybe because the ball wasn't weighting him down. []
