    Weird angle, IMO he did...

Did they show it any other way but on his left?

It was real close but the ref was right on it . He had a better look at it then we did.

The replay did not give a great view. To hard to call.

The replay looked that way, but his heel didn't come down, so it was hard to confirm....close call, and since the ruling on the field was TD, no way were the refs going to overturn that one.

Personally, I think he was out.

Would be nice if the NFL upgraded their cameras.....the security camera at my local 7-Eleven has better resolution.

on the replays his right foot angle seemed to touch the line.

the ref said there was no clear evidence that he stepped out.

i personally believe they didnt look at all angles of the replay.

I just thought it was funny how long it took Ed to explain it.

Re: Did Vernon Davis step out?

NO. Although his foot was turned and the the heel of his foot appeared over the white out of bounds, he was stepping on the front tip of his foot which was on the green in bounds. The heel of his foot was never in contact with the ground painted in white. Therefore it was too tough to overturn and the refs made the right call.

What i didn't understand was why the refs didn't call holding against the 49ers OL a few times when our DL was clearly held
or what i thought was clearly offsides by the 49er defense by Smith and he sacked Eli.

It looked like he did to me too but since it was questionable even on the replay, there wasn't enough to overturn the call.

I think they got the call and subsequent review right though.
I don't always root for the Cowboys but when I do I wear my pink Jessica Simpson edition Romo jersey. (yes I lost a bet)

Agree with there not being enough to overturn... but of course i think he was out...

The clearest thing to see is man coverage on Davis w a safety is a bad idea and probably shouldnt do it again... uhh..

Re: Did Vernon Davis step out?

No his foot didn't stepped out yet part of his foot was over the white line. His feet have to touch on the line for it to be out of it.

Well that would be out of bounds... even if just his toe

Maybe - but there wasn't clear evidence, so the ref mad the right call.

The blatant offsides and the face mask against Nicks (when we had to settle for a FG) were the worst non-calls.

I thought it was. If you watch the highlights video on the site they show a very close-up view of his foot on the sideline. It was very close, but he was clearly in bounds.

But that arrogant stance after the TD was disgraceful. It's almost as if he was thinking, "yeah, I may cost my team a 15 yard sportsmanlike conduct penalty, but so what?"

I think he was aware of the fallout from last week and didn't want Giants fans calling for his head.

But yeah it was not clear that his heel came down.
